“At the end of this century, in August 1999 or 2000, Kursk will sink under water, and the whole world will weep for it.”
At the time, no one paid attention. Later, the world realized she was not speaking of the Russian city of Kursk, but the nuclear submarine named Kursk, which sank in 2000. The disaster shocked the world and claimed many lives.
2. The Outbreak of War

In 1988, speaking about Russia, she drew a circle on her palm and said:
“Russia will once again become a great empire, a spiritual foundation for the whole world. But this will take a long time—when the number 8 appears and agreements are made for the Earth.”
Her followers interpret this as Russia’s re-emergence as a global superpower.
5. The European Migrant Crisis
Vanga predicted:
“So many people will suffer. Misfortune will pour in from everywhere, affecting all nations… People will walk barefoot, without clothes, without fuel, without light…”
This was later compared to the largest refugee crisis in decades, which Europe faced in the 2010s.
6. The Rise of ISIS
In 1978, she foretold:
“A time of great trials will come. People will be divided by religion… Syria will fall under the feet of the victor, but the victor will not be worthy.”
