The people who discovered this special cave were really surprised because on the surface, it looked like a giant sleeping python, the details like every scale.

One of these fascinating stories must be about a cave in Thailand that has just been discovered. The cave named Naka is located in Bueng Khong Long district, Bueng Kan province, about 700km from Bangkok (Thailand).
When found, this cave was quickly famous because of its shape and the giant scales that only appear in legends that exist in real life. Outside the cave entrance, the protruding rock is shaped like a snake’s head.
Detailed images of the cave were shared by Ord Thanawanij in May. Immediately, it caused a “storm” online and made Thai public opinion boil.
The reason is because since ancient times, Thai people have always believed in the myth of Payana – a giant snake. Therefore, the vivid image of this cave makes many people think of the snake described in the legend.
Not far from this cave, even on the other side of the Laos border, one can find stone blocks with special veins, carved like real snake skin.
However, not long after that, the public relations department of Bueng Kan’s love confirmed the snake cave to reassure public opinion. Specifically, they said that the picture of the head and body of the snake did not belong to the same cave.
In particular, the rock block like a snake’s head is located in Oudomxay province, Laos. The part like snake scales is located in the forest of Phu Langka National Park, Bueng Kan province, which is nearly 700km from Oudomxay province (Laos).
Currently, the management in Phu Langka National Park has actively improved the surrounding roads, the entrance to the snake cave has been widened to welcome tourists to visit.
