Have you ever woken up feeling like you were abducted by aliens? You’re not alone! A wild new study suggests those terrifying alien abduction stories could actually be lucid dreams.
Russian researchers got lucid dreamers (people who can control their dreams) to try summoning aliens and UFOs in their dreams. And the results are straight out of the X-Files!
Over 100 participants reported successfully encountering extraterrestrials that looked straight out of sci-fi movies, with green skin, big eyes and all. One dreamer described being blinded by a bright light and pulled onto a spacecraft by “little green men”!
Another felt paralyzed as a white figure reached into their chest with instruments. Creepy!
Conversations with aliens, seeing UFOs, and even feeling abducted on board alien ships – the dreamers experienced it all. About 1 in 4 of those who felt it was “real” also experienced the paralysis and intense fear that often comes with claimed abductions.
