ARES Modena Unveils World’s Only Two-Door Rolls-Royce Phantom Upgrade

In the ever-evolving landscape of automotive luxury, ARES Modena, an Italian customization company, has recently revealed its groundbreaking transformation of the iconic Rolls-Royce Phantom into a stylish two-door coupe. This marks the world’s first-ever modification of the revered Rolls-Royce Phantom sedan, elevating it to a new level of sophistication.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom, a globally acclaimed ultra-luxury sedan, has long been considered the epitome of its segment. With the eighth generation, the British automaker exclusively offered the standard version and the extended-wheelbase EWB variant.

The previous generation’s Phantom Coupe was succeeded by the Rolls-Royce Wraith, which has now been further transformed into the all-electric Rolls-Royce Spectre. The configuration of a two-door coupe on the Phantom VIII platform is exclusively applied to the coachbuilt Rolls-Royce Boat Tail.

ARES Modena, based in Italy, has recently introduced a special upgrade project dedicated to this luxury sedan. To convert the four-door luxury sedan into a coupe variant, ARES Modena shortens the vehicle’s chassis and eliminates the rear seat doors. The front seats retain the traditional Rolls-Royce upward-opening doors.

The exterior of the vehicle is adorned with two primary colors, white or black, accompanied by a contrasting dual-tone scheme. The hood, windscreen border, and Coachline trim are finished with Rose Gold accents, adding a touch of opulence to the overall design.

The interior of the ARES Modena Phantom Coupe undergoes a refreshing update, echoing the exterior color scheme. The dashboard surface and rear seat armrest feature exquisite wood patterns, while the seats and steering wheel are embellished with Rose Gold motifs. The customization extends to the placement of the ARES Modena logo, visible on various elements such as the headrests, steering wheel, and central screen interface.

While the official performance specifications of the modified engine are yet to be disclosed by ARES Modena, the original Phantom VIII comes equipped with a 6.75L twin-turbocharged V12 engine, delivering a maximum power of 571 horsepower and a peak torque of 900 Nm.

The pricing details for this upgraded version have not been officially released by the customization company. ARES Modena has previously showcased a similar project, transforming the ultra-luxury Bentley Mulsanne sedan into an impressive two-door coupe. With these innovative modifications, ARES Modena continues to redefine the boundaries of automotive luxury customization.
