Matted dog was waiting so patiently on the side of the road for a family who’d make him look like a puppy again
Michigan sisters Laura Chapman and Carla Jean and their family observed a dog in the deep grass on a Texas roadside appearing as though he was waiting to see if the proper people would arrive and save him.
They stopped the car and walked up to him. He didn’t run away. Instead, he happily returned with them to the automobile.
He didn’t have a collar and was in agony owing to being matted and dirty.

After having a wash and a much-needed haircut, the dog, whom they called Murphy, returned to Michigan with the family, where he’s living his finest life.
