A dog in Russia has gone viral after being found with a black bag under its eye two nights after its owner went missing.
The dog, a mixed breed named Sharik, was spotted by a passerby on a street in the city of Krasnoyarsk on February 13. The passerby noticed that the dog had a black bag under its eye, and they took a closer look.
The bag contained the owner’s wallet, passport, and other personal belongings. The passerby took the bag to the police, who were able to track down the owner.
The owner, a man named Ivan, was overjoyed to be reunited with his dog and his belongings. He said that he had been out drinking with friends the night before, and he had lost his way home.
Sharik had apparently stayed with him all night, and had even tried to lead him back home. However, Ivan was too drunk to follow Sharik’s lead.
