A Man Adopts A 16-Year-Old Dog, Ensuring That His Final Moments Be As Joyful As Possible

A 16-year-old dog gets adopted by this guy, who makes sure he spends his last days with a caring family.

When we get a dog, we have to realize that his lifespan is not as long as we would want. They share a portion of our lives with us, but they live with us their entire lives, so we constantly want to provide them with the finest life possible. We know they have worked hard for everything.

Zack Schou, a co-founder of Marleys Mutts and the Pawsitive Change initiative, had that impression when he first saw an old dog named Henry at the Tehachapi, California, rescue facility. The 16-year-old dog wasn’t as nimble or active as the other dogs at the shelter and was scruffy with gray spots on his fur.
