The only thing this puppy wanted was a shoulder to lean on.
After losing his German Shepherd, Scott felt disheartened and decided to take a drive down a country road. It was during this drive through a small farming town in Payette, Idaho, that he spotted a sign advertising “German Shepherd puppies.” Curious for a dose of puppy love, he decided to stop by, with no intention of adopting. However, fate had other plans, leading him to meet a puppy named “Biggie.”
Biggie stood out from the rest of the puppies due to a hernia, making him the “odd man out” of the group. Despite his condition, all Biggie desired was a loving companion, and Scott became that shoulder for him. Their bond was instant, and from there, their enchanting journey began.
Scott took Biggie on countless adventures, determined to provide him with the best life possible. They explored open fields, trekked through mountains, dashed through snow, and swam in serene lakes—every moment filled with joy for Biggie.
Though they faced a scare when Biggie was hospitalized, Scott never wavered in his devotion. With care and determination, Biggie recovered, and they resumed their blissful life together. As Scott eloquently expressed in the video below, “If you give your dog the best life you can, in turn you have the best life that you can have as well.” Wise words indeed, Scott!
