Elephants are the heaviest land animals in the world. Normally they are quite shy and rarely interact with humans, but once they get mad, the destructive power of this animal is extremely terrible.
Located 120 km from Bangkok – Thailand, Khao Yai National Park (meaning large) is the third largest park in Thailand with an area of more than 2,000 square kilometers.
This place has an extremely rich ecosystem with 3,000 species of plants, 320 species of birds and 67 species of mammals, of which many wild elephants live here.
People have counted more than 400 large and small elephants in Thailand’s Khao Yai National Park and is said to be home to the most wild elephants in national parks in Thailand.
Because of the natural wildlife in Khao Yai, people encountering large herds of wild elephants roaming around here quite often.
Just like the clip was accidentally recorded by someone passing by on the street. Accordingly, a man riding a motorbike at a rather slow speed passed by the gathering place of a large herd of elephants.
This guy just casually walked close to the elephants without knowing that the sound of his engine was disturbing them. An elephant stood nearby and was also the largest, howling in anger and then rushing forward to attack the motorcyclist.
So scared, he had to immediately get out of the car and make a sign like kneeling to ask the elephant to spare his life.
After that, he had to leave his motorbike behind and run straight into the forest as several elephants followed closely.
Luckily, neither person nor car suffered any damage.
Mr. Chris Draper, a member of the wildlife organization Born Free, said: “In this case, the motorbike driver was too subjective in passing close to the elephants at a slow speed. This made the elephants angry and angry. Their actions are predictable. Fortunately, this guy was not injured at all.”
Elephants are animals that are extremely sensitive to sound, so the loud noise coming from the motorbike engine disturbed them. Once they feel a threat, the elephant will be excited and become extremely aggressive. Many incidents of elephants attacking humans in ways such as stabbing them with their tusks, ramming them, stomping on them with their feet… have been recorded.
