Google Earth has become a treasure trove for incredible discoveries, from shipwrecks to wild animals and even crimes in progress. But the latest find might be the most exciting yet: a colossal sea creature lurking in the waters off Antarctica.
The discovery was made by a Google Earth user who was zooming in on Deception Island, a volcanic caldera in the South Shetland Islands. As the user zoomed in, they noticed a massive disturbance in the water. Upon closer inspection, it became clear that the disturbance was caused by a large, dark object that was about 100 feet long.
